Mumbai event invite.
The events included our very own Mike Khan and Giulia Spanio who shared insights into the specialty coffee industry, La Marzocco legacy and the new partnership with Kaapi Machines.
On the occasion Mike, Export Area Manager – Africa, India, and the Middle East, La Marzocco said, “We were looking for a partner who shares our vision of excellence in coffee, understands the importance of premium-quality equipment, has national service capability, and a connection to the growing specialty coffee sector. In Kaapi Machines, we think we have found a partner in all those things and we are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship.”
“With the objective to introduce new-age coffee technology to elevate coffee quality in the country, we have partnered with La Marzocco, a handmade specialty coffee machine from Florence, Italy. The specialty coffee industry in India has evolved over the years with surging specialty cafés, wide varieties of specialty coffee from local roasters and growing home brewer’s base. The art of brewing is a combination of a skilled barista and an espresso machine. With La Marzocco, we are bringing the best-handcrafted espresso machine for skilled baristas to take coffee experience and quality to highest standards in the country”, shares Abhinav Mathur, CEO, Kaapi Machines.
While some say India runs on chai, with Gen Z, the millennials who grew up with Café Coffee Day, with their rising income and more international exposure, they seem to have an evolved taste for a good coffee. Kaapi is here to cater to specialty coffee lovers who want a good cup of joe at work, at a café or at home.
